Notably, the championship features a new format: a mixed 4x100m relay, an innovation not seen before in World Athletics' official schedule. Bolt remarked, 'That's life-changing money. When I competed, we never had that opportunity. Athletics now understands the value of stars.' Each event will feature only the world's 16 best athletes, with no qualifying rounds – a format designed to eliminate downtime and maximize dramatic tension for television audiences.
