Vyšehrad - Gothic cellar

Exposition in the Gothic cellar presents another historical faces of Prague Vyšehrad. You will find there articles documenting the settlement of Vyšehrad in the third millennium before Christ and articles related to activities of Vyšehrad canonry from the 11th till the 20th centuries. Valuable monuments include a small cross originating in the 11th century and found at Vyšehrad Cemetery, or a talcum medallion found under Vyšehrad cliff. The permanent historical exposition documents development of the Vyšehrad fortress and history of Prague fortification.
