Museum of the Capital City of Prague

In Renaissance Revival building, built in 1896 to 1898, you will find a complex exposition of the history of the City and its inhabitants. You will walk across ten centuries and during this exciting walk which you will see unique works of art and structures, as well as articles of everyday use. In hall no. 7, you will find a real curiosity: Langweil’s model of Prague. It took eleven years to the author to create models of individual buildings. He was using wood and paper and he managed to present unbelievably precise and detailed model of Prague in the second quarter of the 19th century on the area of 20 m2. Such model is not available at any other European or world metropolis.
