Museum of Antonín Dvořák

The life and work of Antonín Dvořák, one of the most significant and world-famous Czech musical composers, is presented in villa “America”. The museum was founded already in 1932. You can see articles belonging to the composer’s inheritance: viola, piano, few pieces of furniture, including the writing desk, and articles reminding his stay in the USA. The Baroque villa America is one of the most beautiful civil buildings in Prague and it was built in 1712 to 1720 by K.I. Dienzenhofer.
