Historical apothecary

Do you also love unrepeatable smell of old apothecary? Are you exited by secrets hidden in lovely doses and countless drawers? Do not forget to visit the Historical apothecary exposition. It came into being more than hundred years ago thanks to donations of Czech apothecaries and it also comprises the mobiliary of the “Golden lion” apothecary originating in 1821. It represents a unique sample of creative feeling at the turn of Classicism and Biedermeier and it includes a number of containers made of clear and hyalite glass, Slavkov porcelain and turned wood. It is the oldest preserved apothecary interior in Prague.

With Prague Welcome Card you may visit newly shown Mirror Chapel with exposition dedicated to Klementinum history. You certainly should not miss one of the jewels of Prague architecture.
