Glass Works of Nižbor

Traditional Czech glassware is world renown and reflects a centuries old history. During a visit of the Rűckl Glassworks, you will be able to follow the production secrets of lead crystal glass, literally step-by-step. Master glass makers will transform a shapeless glass mass directly before your eyes into graceful and perfect shapes of vases, beakers and drinking glasses, to which grinder masters then impart the final appearance. The half-day panoramic excursion will also enchant you with the beauty and picturesqueness of the Czech countryside, specifically the valley of the Berounka River, through which you will pass.
